Do you ever get in trouble with the wife?

I am sitting here with my wife watching the "Lake House".  Finally I might get out of trouble.  It was several years ago I was working at home on the computer and I was watching TV.  I watched the Lake House  by myself.  I don't know how I got to watching it but I watched when my wife wasn't home.

Well about two weeks later she and I were sitting in front of the TV and I made a terrible mistake.  We were looking at what to watch.  My lovely wife said what about the Lake House?  I made a mistake and said "no I watched that already"  Boy was she wasn't tickled with me at that moment.  She had wanted to watch it and had heard it was good.

She couldn't believe I would watch a romantic movie by myself.  She told me why didn't I watch one of those shoot them up, kill them dead, bloody movies that I usually watch.  Why did you watch the Lake House.  Unfortunately I had no good answer at the time.  So for the last two years I have heard about the Lake House and how I didn't watch it with her.

So tonight I am making it up and watching the Lake House.  It's good even the second time around.  Plus I am watching it with my lovely wife.  Life is good!

LOL, Russ! Sometimes you just can't win for losing, can you? I made a similar mistake the other night. My wife had rented a movie for us to watch together on Monday.

Come Thursday, we still hadn't had time together to watch it, so I started watching it when I went to bed. She came in, and was steamed that I was watching it without her. So, I turned it off about ten minutes in.

We managed to lay down to watch it last night, and she fell asleep within the same first ten minutes! Good thing I waited for her! LOL.

Hi Russ...That's easy.  I've never had a wife so I've never gotten in trouble with one.  That said, don't ask about my husband.

Thanks for mentioning the movie.  I've never seen it (and my husband better not have either) but think I really would like to.

We live in a lake house although it does not have that much glass.

Hope your wife enjoyed it also.

Happens to me all the time! I will watch something that I think she would have no desire to watch and then later she will ask why we didn't watch it together... I say because we have had it from Netflix for 3 weeks and you haven't watched it with me yet? That doesn't go over to well... But, come on, how many woman want to watch "Cool Hand Luke" anyway?

LOL.  I do not have this problem since my wife hates movies.  However, I enjoyed the post.
