I have gotten several clients when they read my profile. They identified with me and my past.
I have gotten clients who lived in the town I grew up in. (Allen Park, downriver, suburb of Detroit, MI)
I have got a client that like that I served in the Military. ( U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, Ft Bragg, NC)
I have got a client from a School that my son attended (Catholic Central)
You may get a client by explaining about your love of your pets whether it is a cocker spaniel or a Siamese Cat.
Or you may get a client by telling about your love of skiing and or your love of travel.
Expand your profile and tell prospective clients about you. We are just people, not a Realtor or mortgage person all the time.
After all in the summer you will catch me waterskiing behind a boat, or working in my garden. And definitely in February or March I need to go to Florida or somewhere warm to get rid of the winter blues. How about you? What makes you tick.

I am walking in the Tampa 3 day cancer walk in October. Support cancer research by going to www.the3day.org/goto/marianneravary and donate as much as you can. My wife got to live 20 years after finding out she had breast cancer due to advances in cancer treatment. Be part of the team and help me. I would like to be able to give some other "special lady" (like my wife Marianne) more days on this earth. If we can give another lady another night to enjoy with friends, an extra week to laugh & hug her kids, an extra month to love her spouse, or an extra year then our money will be going to a good cause. The grants from the Susan G Komen 3 day walk have been instrumental in cancer research. Help me give more time to somebody else please donate to the 3day walk. Thanks

Russ -- It's important to make a connection and sharing past experiences is a great beginning.
Good advice Russ. I know I need to update mine with some more things that are on a personal level.
Russ...the more you tell the more you sell. Thanks for sharing.
Russ, what a great idea, we are so reluctant to expose information about us. I guess there is room for me to add.BTW I was in the 3rd IN( airborn/ranger mech infantry) a hundred years ago.:))
Russ, thanks for the tip. I think I'll update my profile.
