of Snow and depending on who you talk to there was 12 inches of snow that fell in Metro Detroit MI yesterday by noon. I went out this morning and showed some houses.
Not one of the houses bothered to shovel the snow. So my clients and I had to trudge thru 10 inches of snow. I had expected the builders model to be shoveled, and the home owner to shovel the other one. Of course I didn't expect the bank to have the Northville foreclosure cleared of snow. The foreclosure had no heat so the floors were freezing, so my clients did not want to take their shoes off.
What a messy day to go out looking at houses, but my client did find one of the Northville homes to their liking. They were going home to think about it. Who knows they may put in an offer on a snow covered Northville home.
To search Northville homes for sale go to my website Wayne County, Oakland County, Livingston County Real estate

your local Metro Detroit Realtor helping clients like you sell and buy homes through out the entire Metro Detroit suburbs. I love showing and selling Oakland County and Livingston County Lake front homes too.

Yesm Russ - I'd figure that sellers of all types of listings would be doing cartwheels to get their property sold, let alone not having the walks shoveled. Well - at least you have clients who are looking!! As an ex-Detroiter I don't miss the snow since moving down to the Ozarks.
I emailed my office the location of my Open House and I arrived this afternoon to a Plowed Driveway and shoveled walk...Plus my Open house sign looks pretty fun atop the pile of plowed snow at the entrance to the road. Happy Snow Day..hope you stay warm and dry soon!
Russ,
Even though it would sound logical that people would do everything it takes to sell their property, but in reality when people are sepressed, they tend to lose interest to the point of indifference. Sounds strange but I am sure you have seen it a lot, when people do not do what is needed. In a slow market you would see a lot of that. Cobweb, dead flies on the floors, some leaves... Leaves a bad impression, but this is how it happnes
How about Christmas shopping? Do people just beare it and go anyway? Or does the snow mess everything up?
D... now was you mind in the gutter or what?
Michael, people are out in full force today
I just won't go out after a snow storm. It always seems the end the same way with me barreling thru unplowed driveways.

Julie, you are such a mean person today.
Russ, we had about 9 to 10 inches as well. It is not fan to go out today.
